Back Yard Burgers Introduces New Bourbon Street Grilled Chicken Sandwich for Early Summer Promotion
Nashville, Tenn. --- Back Yard Burgers, Inc. is rolling out a new Bourbon Street Grilled Chicken Sandwich for their early summer promotion which runs May 21 through the end of June. The sandwich is a grilled, all-white, boneless breast of chicken brushed with a spicy bourbon sauce. The sandwich is dressed with sliced tomato and leaf lettuce, and served on a toasted bun.
According to Dave Hintz, Marketing Director / Menu Development, the Bourbon Street Chicken Sandwich provides a flavor profile that is new to the line of grilled chicken sandwiches currently on the Back Yard Burgers menu. "The bourbon sauce is a slightly tangy sauce with a great bourbon flavor," Hintz said. "It's very much a taste of spicy New Orleans."
"We've been improving our limited-time-offerings for the past year and it's building traffic, says James, Boyd, CEO. "We had a very successful promotion with our Chipotle Burger in April with the Chipotle product accounting for 5 percent of sales during the month and same store sales increasing 7 percent compared with previous year.
Back Yard Burgers does not plan to infiltrate the menu with only spicy options. According to Hintz, "we have some exciting new savory products on the horizon, and are looking to expand our menu categories to appeal to our target for a greater number of occasions."
Back Yard Burgers is continuing to grow and looking to expand into new markets. "We are extremely excited to begin offering Franchises with exclusive territories not only in our existing Markets but throughout the United States. Prime territories are still available," Boyd commented.
